Homework for Module 3:

  • Spend time selecting a domain name that reflects your service, business offering or intended ideal customer. Hint: Remember, your Website has to be set up to attract the attention of people searching for your services or products. It starts with the domain name you select. Your domain name needs to be the search term your prospective client or patient would use to find you on the search engines. They can’t search for your website named after you if they haven’t discovered you yet!
  • Secure your own name as a domain name — just in case, so that you won’t be held hostage to buying it back if you ever need it!
  • If you already have a website, test it with Website Grader. Make a note of where you and your webmaster can make improvements in its performance.
